Colombia Valle Del Cauca Sugarcane Decaf
Colombia Valle Del Cauca Sugarcane Decaf
Chocolaty & Sweet
Notes of milk chocolate, orange & marzipan
Lovely, sweet marzipan aromas followed by a hint of orange, just like Christmas in Europe.
This coffee was decaffeinated in Colombia using ethyl acetate - an organic compound derived from sugarcane - to remove 97% of the caffeine from coffee beans. Because ethyl acetate comes from sugarcane and is an organic compound that can effectively remove caffeine, the coffee’s flavor attributes are not extracted. The process tends to leave a pleasantly sugary flavor, as well as the coffee's original delicate, delicious flavors.

We Offer Custom Grind
We Offer Custom Grind
We sell our coffee in whole beans by default. If you would like to order ground coffee, please add a note at checkout to specify the grind type needed.
Caffeinaked offers 4 types of grind.
Grind size affects how much extraction you get from the coffee. Incorrect grind size will lead to unbalanced flavors (too sour, too bitter) or lack of strength. You should pick a grind type according to your brewing method. If it is a gift and you are not sure what brewing method the receiver uses, we recommend to go with medium grind.
- Medium-Fine: for Aeropress, Moka pot, siphon, single-serving pour-over cone.
- Medium: for V60, automatic drip machine, refillable K-cup.
- Coarse: for French Press, percolator, Chemex.
- Ultra-Coarse: for cold brew.
